This years meeting will take place on Sunday November 6, 2005, in the meeting room at Children's Arena, 155 Arena St., Oshawa, from 1 pm to 3:30 pm. Please come out and become informed and involved in your child's sport. The nomination and election of the Executive members will be performed at this meeting. Executive Positions are for a one year term and are as follows: President: The president shall preside at all meetings of the Oshawa Minor Fastball Inc. with the usual privileges of the office. The president shall be charged with the general management and supervision of the affairs and operation of Oshawa Minor Fastball Inc. 1st Vice-President: The 1st Vice-President shall perform all duties of the President in the event the President is absent or able to act. 2nd Vice-President:The 2nd Vice-President shall perform all duties as the Executive may, from time to time dictate. Treasurer: The Treasurer shall keep an accurate record of all monies received and dispensed through a chartered bank/licensed trust company and report annually to the members with an audited statement, as well as prepare an annual budget to be presented to a meeting of the executive. Recording Secretary: The Recording Secretary shall keep an accurate report of the proceedings of all meetings and be custodian of all minutes, records, and documents of, and belonging to the Oshawa Minor Fastball Inc. Correspondence Secretary: The Correspondence Secretary shall receive communications and conduct correspondence at the direction of the President. Volunteer Coordinator: The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the organization of the volunteers for the Bingos and the BBQ's. Equipment Coordinator: The Equipment Coordinator shall dispense and receive all equipment and uniforms to and from the Stinger Coaches. The coordinator shall also be responsible for the upkeep of the Oshawa Minor Fastball Inc. storage unit. Tournament Coordinator: The Tournament Coordinator shall coordinate all tournaments hosted by Oshawa Minor Fastball Inc. This includes forwarding tournament applications, receiving tournament applications and payment, organizing tournament play (pools, diamonds, schedules), and aid tournament operations when required. WHO CAN VOTE: 1. Executive members receive a ballot. 2. Coach, signed to the team registration form receives a vote. 3. Parent, or guardian receives one ballot per child signed on a team registration. ** THERE WILL BE NO PROXY VOTES** See you at the AGM Please come out and support our organization
