The Peewee Boys hosted an open tournament at Alexandra Park June 3-5.
The Stingers opened the tourney wiht a convincing win over the Scarborough
Royals on Friday night. The second game was closely contested until the
4th ining when Napanee took control of the game and won. Saturday afternoon
Oshawa's ace pitcher, Abe Leahy, threw a no hitter blanking Waterloo 4-0.
However, the next morning, Waterloo rebounded and beat the local boys 3-1.
This loss put the Stingers in the bronze medal game against Orleans and came
