Fall Training Sessions Update
Danielle Smith a former member of our Stingers teams is pleased to be able to attend
and train with the children at our clinics. Danielle is a skilled and dedicated
fastballer and looks forward to giving back to the game.
Some of her history:
Danny played "4" years of Novice with the stingers starting as a first year squirt.
The challenge was huge but she stuck with it eventually pitching a game at the
Canadians with the Novice team of 2001 coached by Rich and Deb Marsh. She
continued her career with Midget teams in Pickering and Whitby and has been the
number one pitcher on those teams. This fall as a member of the Durham Lady Lords
fastball team she led the team to the Ontario College championships gold medal.
Her fall stats are impressive: 8-1 won lost record, Awards, Player of the year,
Rookie of the year, League top pitcher and Championship Outstanding pitcher
(record of 3-0).
Danielle, however is a complete player, comfortable and skilled at several other
defensive postions and just loves to hit. She will add tremendously to our
clinics so come out and join us.
